We found a place on the Internet about six months ago that was advertised by Pam Golding in cape town as we could not view the place (we were still in johannesburg) we took out a 12 month lease in what was advertised to be an upmarket rental in the Villa Della fonte complex. Upon arrival the door did not open, front door glass was cracked the tiles where black and there was a mould smell in the place. The couch had stains and the whole place was filty! Completely inhabitable! We found out later that the place was infested by mould (in and in cupboards) We even took a video of it. (video available on request) and we cancelled the lease but had to pay the agents commission for a full year and one months rent. Because it was so filty we rented a second place that same month luckily via seeff. we took a lease for 6 months with seeff and sent our little dashund back to joburg until we could find a pet friendly place. We found a pet friendly place in Eden on the bay that was managed by Pam Golding and we tought let's give the company another chance. When we applied 3 days later Peter Goosen said the owner rejected the application but could not provide any reason or proof for this.
