I responded to an advertisement on gumtree in October trying to get accommodation in Ruimsig, and was given the run around. After finally getting the correct property managers contact details, I was told that the property was available for me to rent from the first of January, and i requested for the lease to be sent to me. After a long time of following up i finally received my lease agreement/ application form, it took me four days to get all my documents together and sent it back to Vusi the following week. After sending my documents i was told by Vusi that i should wait for my application to be processed, so i did. I called Vusi yesterday and was told that the tenant who was staying there was refusing to move out and would be out by the end of January, he told me he will contact his boss to find out the procedure from there and that he would contact me back in the morning. After waiting impatiently i called Vusi at 15:15 and he tells me that the tenant will be staying till the end of February. I would like the manager to contact me to explain their policies because, this is very unprofessional, i have missed several apartments awaiting this one and am now homeless for January.
