I received a levy statement in October 2013 with an amount of R5k for electricity which was excessive in comparison with my monthly average spent of R300. I contacted the portfolio manager and accounts department to explain that I don't have the financial capacity to settle such a huge bill and carry the cost until the issue has been resolved. The portfolio manager and accounts department were very understanding and refunded me the excessive electricity bill until the matter was resolved. It turned out that the meter was faulty. Also, any other accounts query I've had was acted upon immediately.
