I signed a lease with RE/MAX Property Associates (Table View) to rent a house at 12 Dianthus Rd, Table View over a year ago. When my lease expired on 31 July, an inspection was conducted by myself and Jeanette De Jong, after which she recorded "no damages clean and neat", meaning I would get my full deposit
I has been three weeks since I have been asking for the money to be repaid. In the first week i was told that Warren is on leave by Jeanette. In the second week Warren finally answered his phone and said it would be done the following week Monday, making excuses. During this week I have been talking to Jeanette since Warren doesnt normally answer or return calls, and she said to me on Tuesday that the money HAS BEEN PAID into my account and it would reflect after 24 hrs since she did it via my bank FNB. But now its Friday and i haven't recieved anything. So I smsed her now this morning to sent me the proof of payment and now she's referring me to another person. Durin this week I have to make an temporary loan which will cost me R700 interest because of their delays. And was to be put in an interest bearing account as per the lease but im expecting more drama
