I am a tenant in the de Akkers complex in Bellville, I am staying with my mother for a short while to support her since my father passed away in December of 2012.
But ever since March 2013 she has been fined for just about anything you can think of.
After inquiring about the nature of the complaints (falsely) laid against our unit we were told that is was for disturbing the peace during rugby matches.
Now I do not know how many types of SABC South Africa is currently broadcasting but to my knowledge there is no rugby on SABC which is the only broadcast that we receive.
Secondly, there are no rugby matches on a Thursday!
On the morning of 21 July we provided our landlord with video evidence and screenshots of emergency services being contacted and still no attempt from LMS has been made to clear our name.
I am still waiting on the name of the person who complained so I can open a case of defamation (crimen injuria) as this is now getting so out of hand that it is psychologically damaging to my already psycologically stressed mother.
In my opinion LMS and Mr Ellis is incapable of running this complex.
No one should ever have to be subjected to such harassment and incompetence.
