We've been renting a house through PLS, & it's been the worst experience. 1stly, they had us move into as house that had illegal electricity, the water meter was broken & leaked water into a swamp in the front of the house. The itinerary list that was meant to be sorted before we moved in is YET to be sorted a year & a half later. We got charged an estimate for electricity (even though it was illegal) & then got hit with more council bills, even after stating SINCE we moved in that something wasn't right in our wiring. In March this year I solely managed to arrange a pre-paid meter in a week after asking Prime Letting to sort out the problem since the day we moved in. On a monthly basis we get INCORRECT rent statements - as if its that hard to just add in Rent, Utilities & ADT to a statement. We always have to fight this. The communication is also really. Portfolio managers don't phone to update a person. If your repair man cancels with you, let your tentant know. As if we have nothing to do all day. It's always a process & a mission & it's rather tiring. Get it together please, you're meant to be a professional establishment. We can't keep doing the work for you! ITS NOT ON!!
