Worst Service & Serious Maintenance Issues

I must agree with the 2 previous emails I have just read on Chorus Letting. They are most definitely the worst letting agents I have ever dealt with. I moved into my apartment almost 8 months ago. From the beginning there were serious maintenance and health and safety issues. It took 7 months for birds and their nests to be removed from inside the roof; I complained about the birds in my first 2 weeks of living there.
Maintenance issues - leaking gutters, no hole in the balcony for water to run out, toilet that didn't work properly and took 6 months to sort out, leaking light fittings, water coming under all the doors and the list goes on and on. The builders did terrible repair jobs and would have to come back to sort it out again.

What made all of this worse is that Chorus Letting would take 3 to 4 weeks to reply to emails, even with me sending follow up emails all the time. This not only wasted my personal time, but also cell phone costs to phone.

After asking for a building inspector to look at the building; I received notice that my lease would not be renewed. I have never breached my lease or made a late payment. My lease only expires in 4 months.
