We have a long list of complaints about Chorus Letting - one landed me a severe back injury which had me bedridden for 2 months because they would not fix the hazardous stairs, despite many emails and phone calls from us. They 'fixed' it after I fell on the stairs and injured my back. 7 months later I am still plagued by chronic pain and sometimes unable to walk which requires constant medical attention. THEY REFUSE TO COVER MY MEDICAL BILLS.
When we moved in 14 months ago we gave them an inspection list of the many other problems with the property. Some they dealt with many months later (only because we constantly kept at them to do it), always using the cheapest labour and/or solution which usually made the problem worse or only fixed it temporarily (like the stairs), and some they still have not fixed. Due to this we have been forced to live unpleasantly, plagued by unsealed windows which freeze us at night, sleepless due to the loose roofing sheet, bitten by fleas from previous tenants (they told us we must fumigate? We don't even have pets and never had fleas before we moved there) and unhappy due to a number of additional problems. Not-to-mention their unprofessional staff.
