I rented out a place in Kempton Park, Terenure, Midrivier Estate thru iLookout letting in March 2013 and stay a month there. A refundable deposit of R5500 was paid to iLookout as requested. Before moving in I was promised that a lease contact will be drawn up and given to me to sign along with a detailed document of everything that needed to be fixed in the unit, non of this was delivered. I then decided to move out a month later. I was then told that I will forfeit my deposit cause I needed to give them 1 months notice, which doesn't make sense cause we never agreed on anything like that since they failed to give me the contract.
I'm now being given a runaround regarding my deposit. iLookout Letting lacks honesty and professionalism by far.
A lady called Rozare is apparently the one dealing with this at iLookout Letting but she never returns all of my calls nor sms'z.
