Incompetent Call Agent

Agent name Nhlanulo Rikhotso, ref 1304043146

I contacted the Department of Home Affairs Contact Centre, and I advised them I had received a reference number via SMS from home affairs in Germiston.
The SMS was received on the 24th April 2013 when the application was captured, but Nhlanulo insisted that the application was submitted in April 2012.
After arguing with her that no one submitted the an application on in 2012, she insisted that even though I went to home affairs in April 2013, the system says April 2012 and she did not want to assist any further.
Her telephone etiquette was absolutely shocking, she refused to let me talk to someone else or a manager who is Tankifo Lethoko, telling me they are all in a meeting and they would not be able to help me anyway.

This agent did not have two brain cells to think with, she refused to acknowledge that there was a problem and that they had messed up the dates.

What a pathetic service to citizens! Big need to train these home affairs call centre agents on customer service and let alone telephone etiquette.
