I have submitted a notice of appeal against the 2012 assessment in November. I explained in the dispute that sars did not take the travel expenses into consideration I have sent them every document they asked for. Now we are in the next financial year and i am still waiting for an answer from sars. I have phoned the call centre numerous times and all they tell me is they have to escalate a call and then wait 21 working days for the escalation to be done and when I phone to follow up on escalation the answer I get - they are still busy with the escalation. This dispute is taking longer than 90 working days and I don't have answers for my client anymore
