Good day. I am experiencing problems with my tax returns. I have been charged penalties for late submission for period 2008 - 2010 even though I am in possession of a SARS letter which states that no penalties were charged. The income that you have differs completely from what is stated on my IRP5. I made enquires and was told that I have a second and third income but nobody could tell me where these incomes were coming from as I have no knowledge of them. My basic salary is less than R6000.00 a month yet I owe you R24000.00. How is that possible? The call centre has phoned and threatened me I was told by a rude consultant from the call centre that SARS will simply empty my bank account and they do not care how I will live. I have tried to sort out the problem at the East London branch but nobody could help me. I need somebody to please reassess me.
Please people, lets get this story straight. Do you have somebody who can help???
