Thank you for your explanation. Can you please confirm that there is now a meter reading contract in place and that our meter will be read next month?

Yes, we have been on the other side of the coin as well. In June our bill was R 8, 500.00 because no-one had been reading our meter since the beginning when the property was built, so you can understand why interim charges make us nervous.

As you might be aware that we had no meter reading contract in place since January therefore we had no meter readings to load for clients. Interim charges are calculated by the system based on the historic consumption on your account.
