Property was sold in Aug 2011. I have still not received my refund from City of Joburg. I have received a statement from City of Johannesburg that I have a substantial amount due for refund. I have registered for the refund and received a registration number for the refund. However, each time I phone to find out when I am getting the cheque I am told that they are still busy with rate adjustments and cannot give me a completion date. This is totally unacceptable. The refund is due and must be paid to me. Why are they delaying?
