I am not happy about what transpired during the course of the election. My details were used for the Democratic Alliance election campaign in Cape Town while I am in Soweto and voting on the 1st of November.
I was denied to vote then I objected to that, as the only voting station known to me is Ekuthuleni Primary School I did not and do not reside at Ekurhuleni I live in Gauteng. How is to possible to vote for a candidate in Cape Town that I know nothing about. I voted manually I did not intend to vote online for the DA as I never did in my life. It an act plundering and justification.
Are they going to argue that they have my address, not true I stay in Diepkloof Zone 5 not Alberton and I cannot vote for someone in Cape Town online while I was voting manually in Diepkloof that is rigging in true sense of the word.
I only registered online for COVID19 reasons not for voting to check my registration details I did not update anything. Only to find the new manipulated information. I reside next to my voting station Ekuthuleni Primary School which I have been at since the commencement of democratic elections.
I am dismayed about my discovering the untended vote online. I still shows even though I complained to the IEC they just apologized and said they are investigating.
I also at the moment am sending a letter before claim to Democratic Alliance in relation to the matter. So that they show cause as to who initiated that and for what reasons, I am abled bodied and its not the my first time voting.
It is a pointer to a breach of statute and of confidence in the voting system while it is said the elections were fair and clear. I am devastated even now my emotions are disturbed. I do not for how long my information will stay on record with them.
My data was manipulated and it so unfair because I do not have an idea of me voting online. Something is not right. I do no belong to a particular political party but I do have a party of choice not a fictitious or influenced by choice of someone.
I even think of informing the opposition about this issues it annoys me big time or open a case of intentional use of my information for unlawful reasons and a political motive. I am also waiting for the Information Regulator to come back to me. It is so unfair to my good name and dignity. or my safety and security.
