Is there anybody at home at the National Consumer Council?
Over a year ago I submitted a complaint about the blatant and systematic financial abuse that my late mother had suffered at the hands of the developer of an old age retirement hotel in Muizenberg, called the St Leger.
Despite having resent the email approximately 6 times, having tried to fax the document approximately 6 times, only to be told that the fax mailbox was full, attempts at calling the NCC with phones unanswered, we are close to giving up.
What an indictment of the dysfunctional nature of government departments in South Africa.
