On the 27th of September 2013, I owed SARS money for income tax. I accidently paid SARS twice - Once through the SARS efiling website which I thought did not go through and then via the ITC tab on my FNB online banking app. I called SARS on the 30th of September after seeing that two amount had gone through, they told me I needed to come in. I went to SARS in Randburg with my prp/bank statement, reference # and greed ID book, I sat there for over 5 hours, when I saw a consultant I was told that everything need to be certified, and turned me away. She even showed on the system the two payments where made. I then have been calling and waiting for money since then, I have emailed my statements and prp, been told to wait 21 working days, I have basically been ignored and told they can not see my second payment, then I have to tell them to check there Kopano system and they see it. I have made - 30calls, I have all the call recordings I have spoken to many people here are the ref -117407295, 117739872, 117943184, 118024142, 118459010, 119726515, 119731379, 119778493, 119780052, 120838623, 120840603 - all have told me it has been escalated.
