Paid but no delivery

We applied and paid for prepaid electricity to be installed at our house in Jukskei Park in November last year (2012). We were told this would take 21 days however we are still waiting.

We have tried to contact the relevant people at City Power however, we are constantly being "put through" to various places where there is simply no answer. These calls never return to the switchboard either and the net result is that we are left listening to either "Please Hold" or a ringing phone which is never answered. The same applies to calling the prepaid dept directly - no answer. Ever!

We finally (after two months of trying) managed to get hold of the person who would be doing the installation and he requested a "notification number" which we do not have. He referred us back to City Power to get this number and once again, we have been unable to speak to the relevant people because no one ever answers their phones at City Power or the PrePaid dept!

This is both infuriating and totally unacceptable since our money has been taken for something that has not been received.
