On 30/07/2013, I went into SARS (Bellville branch); and the abuse that I endured at the hands of one of the staff members there; left me in tears, shaking uncontrollably, and I even had an asthma attack (first one in many years).
The man in question, was rude, incompetent, inarticulate, he mumbled, seemed to lack basic computer skills... and was VERBALLY ABUSIVE. I eventually was assisted by another member of staff, Michelle, she was polite and helpful... for which I am appreciative; HOWEVER, I think it wrong that this RUDE man was allowed to get away with such APPALLING behavior; especially when I was beyond polite. I tried numerous times to explain to the rude man (who REFUSED to identify himself)... that I didn't understand him. Firstly he entered the incorrect info, and when I pointed out that I wasn't "Joseph x"... he was terse! He rudely tossed my paperwork back at me and when I asked for an explanation... he walked away. He even SHOUTED at me saying that I was " rude to be calling my husband! ". And the abusive behavior continued. At this point, I began shaking, over-whelmed by stress of the experience... so I asked for his name... he rudely refused...
