I was unfortunate to have missed the August edition of the Sailing Magazine-in which I had a letter to the editor published-due to travelling commitments at the time it was out on the bookstores' shelves. After many requests and pre-payment to CNA Eastgate for a back-copy, Richard Crockett kindly sent the issue to me; FREE OF CHARGE! This was such a pleasant surprise; and was done purely for the sake of a sailor's satisfaction... and I want to compliment the editor and his staff for an action way beyond the call of duty! Not only are these guys putting a brilliant magazine out there; they also have moved away from the tendency of "nothing for nothing" which is so prevalent in South Africa today. WELL DONE!
