I received a call from a Trudon representative in September 2012, ostensibly to renew my current subscription service. I agreed to this but also requested email proofs of the advertising entry and an invoice. When I received these, I noted that the amount I was to be billed was much higher than in the previous year and realised it was because the nature of my entry had been changed and online advertising had been added which I do not need. I requested that this be cancelled at the beginning of October and had to wait until now (May 2013) for this to happen. They are refusing to refund me my subscriptions between October and May as they say I agreed to the original offer telephonically. I take exception to this - I tried to cancel this service in early October and they simply ignored me. Surely I cannot be liable for these subscriptions?
I have tried to deal with this telephonically with them and they are wanting me to listen to voice recordings etc. When I explained that this is not the point, they simply left the recording running and me on the phone. I do not have time for this, I bill by the hour myself.
