Bad Attitude & Bad Customer Service

So a little bit of a rant regarding horrendous customer service and bad attitude. I have been supporting a cake maker / confectionery called INDULGE CAKES in Rivonia since they opened. Last week I ordered a very special cake (R680) for my grandparents 60th Anniversary (big deal!). We were supposed to collect it on Friday at 12pm. We got there and the cake was not ready. As we were leaving for Dullstroom we could not wait any longer and accepted a 'replacement cake' - seriously sub-standard. I have since requested a reimbursement of my money in full, as I had paid in advanced. The extremely unhelpful and unfriendly owner (Donnae) will only reimburse me the differene between the cost of my ordered cake and the 'replacement cake' which was R380 (waaaaaay over priced). I have still not received a personal apology for letting me down nor any show of remorse for their mistake. Rather just bad attitude and horrendous customer service. So my advice is don't support this business, I strongly believe only companies that can provide you with excellent service and good customer relations should be supported. Very let down!
