Adding insult to injury

Not only did the Post Office not deliver any post in the last month because of an illegal strike, they are now fining me R340 for a late renewal of my post box because THEY did not send out renewal notices because THEIR workers were on an illegal strike and no post was delivered. There is no reasoning with any one about this ridiculous situation. The Post Office has summarily blocked all post box key holes until the fine has been paid. I cannot even check if I have received a renewal notice. The same Faerie Glen post office also lost an insured package containing two cell phones and an electronic mole repellant. They refused to reimburse me for the loss of the package and promptly blamed Speed Courier Services for the loss.
