I purchased 22 bottles of heritage paints, students acrylic from Builders warehouse in Rustenburg, about 8 months ago. When I wanted to use some of the colours, I noticed the paints have gone off. It was foul smelling, lumpy like putty and had discoloration on top and sides of bottles. There was 6 bottles that had that problems. I tried to send an email through to agent in Rtb and headoffice. But the mails gets returned to sender. I went back to builders, and their response was that I should contact the s. upplier. I phoned headoffice in Johannesburg. I spoke to Simon, who told me to send him an email with details of my problem, and he'll sort it out. That email also got returned to sender. I phoned again and was put through to person handling returns. He was so rude, and told me that if I can't prove where I bought the paint, he's not going to help. Everytime I tried to explain that builders also doesn't want to help me, he got very irritable. So, who's responsibility is it then for the I got instead of paint?
