Brian (ex owner) of Keengro has now ("as a show of good faith") reimbursed be R2500 of the R4500 owed to me.

Thanks Brian for paying just over half of what is actually owed. In truth "good will" would have been a full refund. "Good will" would have been paying me waaaay back when I first requested a refund.
Instead I've had to chase, nag, phone, email, fight for something that any "good willed" person would have given without second thought.
Only 1 single visit was made to our home by Paul and NO pre-work was ever done. Keengro happily took our money shortly before/during changing ownership without any forewarning of the fact.
Also I did not realise Keengro charges R2000 for a single site visit for a quote? - Especially after giving the impression that it was a no obligation quote.
This whole situation is actually totally ridiculous. I paid keengro R4500 so Keengro owes me R4500 (nothing less.) as NOTHING was ever done.
At least your partial payment has firmly branded you guilty.
