I purchased my VOLVO V40 D2 KINETIC in SEPTEMBER 2015. 2016 looked good BUT 2017 has been a nightmare. This car is forever and a day giving me warnings on the dashboard. I've lost count of how many times I've taken it to the dealer for repairs. The final straw was yesterday (04/12/2017) when I called the service Manager, Neil and reported that my car is giving me a 'OIL SERVICE' warning and 'DIM LIGHTS FAULTY' he told me to drive the car until it's due for service which is 2018, I mean really??? When I told him that I had the car serviced in September 2017, he said he doesn't know what's wrong with it..I mean without even checking it. I've been dealing with VOLVO CAPE TOWN and thought they had the worst service, I'm quite shocked to see that VOLVO BEDFORDVIEW, SOMERSET and BOKSBURG are also not good. That explains why VOLVO is not a popular brand. When I bought this car it was brand new, only God know why is it so problematic within a year and half of having. I'm sick and tired of it, it is the first and the last VOLVO car I'm driving.
