I received a letter on 31/01/2014 stating that the monthly rental will increase from R550 to R999, effective from 1 March 2014. How on earth is this possible? I have never heard of anything like that in my whole life! I need an explanation as soon as possible as I will be taking this to the Press as this is also something that is against the Consumer Rights Act! I signed my contract with Public Storage and when Stor-Age took over as new management, I had no choice but to rent from them. I received an email saying that Stor-Age took over.
I will definitely take this matter further and look forward to hearing what the Head Office have to say!
