PAYMENT UPFRONT BEFORE SERVICE DONE!!!

Our company had a time and attendance machine installed by Quik Securities 2 years ago in our factory. Due to more staff being employed and change of staff on our admin side, we requested a quotation from Quik Securities to add the new employees onto the system and change the user to the new admin lady's pc. We were sent a quotation and approved it, asking Quik Securities to come do the changes on Monday the 27th January 2014. They then informed us that they required full payment upfront before any services were done. Naturally, we were very confused and shocked at this request as no one in this day and age should be insisting on full payment before any work has been done. In the past, when they have done work for us, we pay them in full once the job is done and before they leave our premises. There has never been an issue with payment from our company to theirs. I offered them the option of paying 50% upfront and the other 50% when they have completed the work, however, they refused this arrangement. They are difficult to get hold of and I do not have any guarantee that once I have paid them, they wont run away with my money. Disgusting 'service' to say the least.
