I took my car for engine oil service last year March @ BMW AUTO GLEN, on the 10th of January this year I took it again for the same service after about 15000kms. Later that day I got a call from them informing that they can't do the service because there was a crack on the engine samp & there was silicon pasted on that crack, they told me that I have to pay R8000 for that thing to be fixed.

They acted suprised & told me that they don't use silicon, meaning according to them I took it somewhere else, how can I take my car for a service when it doesn't require one bcoz it takes about 15000-20000kms to require another oil service & when I took it in March I was not informed of any problems, it was serviced.

I called their Customer relations to complain about this issue, she told me she will speak to the Service Manager (Sergio), she never came back to me. I went to Sergio myself & he told me its a common thing to occur due wear & tear but if it was it why in March was never been informed that the samp was cracked & they used silicon & of which they initially claimed they dont use.

He said they will think how they can help me, later they came back & said I must pay 5000 them 3000
