Was refered to 1 Tonner (Tony) for a Ford Ranger 2.2L 12v Engine (F2).
1st call yes they had a engine, 2nd call the engine in question was sold but they could get another but first I must pay R13500.00 for the engine, so done I paid it took 2 weeks for them to get a engine, Charles of 1 Tonner called to ask me if the viscos was still on my engine as the one on the engine he got was broken as well as a cover, I informed Charles that I was hesitant to take the engine, but was assured that the engine had been done over and was alright. After that the engine was delivered to the machanic, the machanic called me after he had fitted the engine to inform me that the engine was a peice of junk (not only that the viscos was broken but that it was leaking oil from the tappet cover, head and sump only silicon used, I informed Toni who said he would try to get a new engine, again a wait whereby I tryed to assist by giving Tony contact numbers for engines, a second engine was found and again the mechanic had to replace damaged parts to get the egnine working only this time the engine, could be used as a smoke screen (all costs for removing and replacing not there concern) is this the standard of 1 Tonner?
