My vehicle has a NATS system that is supposed to prevent. However it rendered me without a car and would be better off not have had one, because it immobilised it even having the correct keys.
I humbly requested Centurion Atlantis Nissan workshop manager if he can support me in any way but was very reluctant and stated I need to tow it in on my own cost.
I feel that a NATS system should help me, not disable me. I also feel that if it breaks, the dealers should have some protocol to help and not leave a client stranded. I feel let down by Nissan and its support. I feel something as volatile as an immobiliser should have a back-up system if it malfunctions. I feel no-one should be stranded because of an immobiliser, immobilising the wrong persons. I'm extremely frustrated, annoyed and cross with NISSAN, its dealers and services!
