Good afternoon,

Today my car would not start so I contacted bmw on call in Swaziland, a tow truck arrive about 25 minutes later.

Apparently the car was not in the right position to load the car so the driver ask me and my wife to push the car into position. The driver then asked me to jump in and steer the car on while my wife was asked to operate the controls for the winch and flat bed while he oversaw everything. On loading the car the front spoiler scrapped badly going up and down the ramp.

On getting to Carson motors. I had to locate a mechanic myself. Who then thought it was a battery related issue. He told that they did not have a batteries in stocked and advised I should drive 2 1/2 hours to bmw nelspruit if I would like it replaced under motorplan. He also noted it's best I not turn the car off as it may not start again.

I have now driven home and parked the car in fear of breaking down. I live in Ezulwini Swaziland. No diagnostics checks where down apart from using a booster battery to start the car.

I would like to know. Should I be replacing my own battery? Who is going to repair the damaged caused to my car.
