Nasty smell!!!

This is the second packet of kent white that i have bought in the last two week that has an unbearable bad smell... almost like a cigar. I am very dissapointed in kent white for I have never excperiensed this. Why does it smell like this what do you use. Dont really want to change brands because I like kent!!! :(
