Coast to Coast have been taking R399.00 per month out of my account without my authorisation.
I have to date been unable to confirm what service they are supplying to me for this amount.
I have been unsuccessful in trying to determine who gave them permission to take monet and how they got my banking details.
I have been told that they are using the services of Personalised Systems &Services, again I have no idea who these people are.
According to ABSA a verbal authorisation is all that is required to set up the debit orders. My quesation is how do they protect the client i.e me? do i understand this to mean that anyone accessing your details can then put through a debit order if they say you have authorised it?
My next big question would be why then when I complain and want to reverse the said debit order, because I have no idea who these people are am I told that to get MY MONEY back my verbal instruction is not good enough I must go into the branch and fill out paper work.
Surely some form of written instruction should then also be required from the 3rd party? FNB is the bank that Coas
