I have cancelled a tv license verbally over the phone, written notices, and filled in the application that they sent to me. having thought that i had done quite enough, i left the issue. then the messages started coming back to me. I called sabc and the operator got tired of talking to me and hung up the phone. i have emailed for months and the sabc for some reason will not speak to me but are quite happy to send me threatening messages. i have gone so far as to invite them to inspect my home for a tv and have given them all of the information needed to trace the tv which i no longer have. At a bit of a loss with what to do.
