After having my windscreen replaced I noticed there was slight paint damage on the edges of my bonnet from the wire used to remove the rubber seal.
I raised this with Roland and Joe at PG Autoglass Sandton who didn't hesitate to offer to pay for the damage. They offered names of panel beaters but didn't instruct me on where I had to go.
My car was in need of other damage repairs and after getting the quote to repair the paint damage as well, Joe had the cash ready for me within 3 hours - no hassle, inconvenience or delay in fixing the mistake.
I think it goes without saying I would have preferred not to have had to go through the process of having the damage repaired. The point for me in this case was how easy PG Autoglass made it to rectify the situation and that I was treated how a customer should be treated - as a human being, and with respect. They could have made it incredibly difficult, but they didn't (sad that the opposite of what I experienced is so common and almost expected of suppliers these days).
