We send literally thousands of parcels on a monthly basis, and our failure rate is EXTREMELY low, so our experience with the post office is generally a positive one. However, I am quite irate at the way parcel PE780154104ZA has been handled. According to the tracking data, it was last scanned in transit at the Witspos hub on 2013/01/10. When I spoke to customer services on 2013/01/11 they confirmed that it had already left for the Pinegowrie post office on 2013/01/11. Now it is almost a month later, and Pinegowrie categorically insist that the parcel did not arrive there on 2013/01/11, and even insist that their system tells them it never left the Witspos hub. The Pinegowrie post office has checked their books as well, and they are really insistent that it did not arrive. Customer service still insists that the parcel left the hub destined for Pinegowrie. Where is this parcel? Are customer services making assumptions that it left for Pinegowrie, or is it merely lost somewhere at Pinegowrie? I need this resolved urgently!
