Get an account from from them. Contact them and they state that they do not want to deduct the outstanding funds from the debit order that they have at present. I confirm with the call centre what the outstanding amount and it is confirmed for R106.17 by the consultants BUT five minutes later it is R42.47. I then visit the nearest e-toll outlets and there the consultants state that the amount of R76.00 must be paid. Only amount available to me at that stages is R46.00. The consultant then refused to accepted the cash. The explanation is that the computer system can only handle exact payment. I then contact the call centre again and the consultant confirm that the amount due is R42.47 (only about 30 minutes has elapsed since leaving the outlet)
First how is possible to have more than one amount quoted?
Secondly since when is cash not accepted.
