I bought a 2011 M3 reg BL 97 ND GP that had 10, 000kms on the odo from Zambesi Auto in Feb. 2013. I have been most happy with the vehicle, however I had a left rear tyre puncher due to a nail late October last year and when I visited Tiger Wheel Woodmead branch they insisted that my rear tyres were actually worn out and required replacement. Since my vehicle mileage was only at 25, 000km I found it odd that I would need to change tyres after a mere 15, 000kms of driving. When I bought the car I was advised by the Sales Manager that the car came with new tyres as was his policy for such a high value vehicle. I thus advised TWT that I would rather stretch the mileage out of the tyres and so got them to mend it. Coincidentally the set of tyres on the car indicate they were manufactured in 2011, so I now have doubts if indeed I got the car with new tyres. Johan of Zambesi has offered to replace 1 tyre on the basis that I am a. BMW SA refuse to assist and claim dealerships are independent.
