I purchased a vehicle from them in May this year and particularly opted for this dealer due to the so called "GM Certified" Guarantee. Before I continued I asked them to confirm details like the service history etc, as well as the quality of the tyres to avoid any unforeseen financial implications. I was assured that the tyres of the vehicle were still in a good condition and that I will only need to replace them after about 25000 km. I then took my car to Tiger Wheel and Tyre to just check the car for my Discovery Insure policy. The sales person advised that he is not able to pass my car's assessment based on the quality of my tyres. He advised that my front tyres were completely worn out and that I could only drive at maximum 1000km - 2000km my rear tyres but that this would be unsafe and against his advice. He said that the safest would be to replace all 4 tyres which I then did and it cost me over R4000. I only drove around 3000 km with my car since I purchased it not close to the 25000km that was confirmed to me. I raised my concern with the dealership and have still not received a response except Jermain advising that it was with his manager and he can't do anything else.
