I purchased a set of Dunlop Sport Sp7000D from a dunlop dealer last year November and was told to keep the tyre inflated to 2.4bars which i have regularly mantained. On New years day (2014), my still brand new tyre went flat. Upon inspection i noted it was a sidewall puncture. I wrote in, and the tyre was eventually inspected, and the report stated: We have found out that the tyre suffered sidewall cut which can be caused by a sharp object or a pavement to give an example. To substantiate my point the tyre has got
stress marks on the liner as a token that the tyre has been running under inflated state. This tyre is not adjustable and it will be sent back to the customer-
I reported back asking what was the reason for inspection, i mean a brand new tyre failed on perfectly flat roads, and i certainly did not hit any sharp object, pavements or potholes! Till now i have not hear back feom David, and quite honestly i hope that the next person i hear from is someone who can be of some actual assistance to me.
Final report, i discourage you all to never buy Dunlop tyres, poor quality, poor service, and no accountability whatsoever.
