IX35 Brand new - Fault after fault & no re-course

I recently bought my 'dream car' Hyundai iX35 Diesel model, out the box. Within the - 6 months I have owned it, I have had several set backs.
I was almsot rear ended turning into my driver (4 months pregnant at the time) ALL break lights failed and car behind (who almost rear ended me) me stopped to make me aware.
By 12 500KM I have had to fill the car with 7 pints of oil. The explanation given is totally unsatisfactory - My car has Korean oil (made in Korea) which burns faster and once oil is changed at 15 000KM it will come right. I am one of a very small percentage of clients having the oil issue, yet all these cars are Korean, with Korean oil???!!!
Drivers chair; leather is tearing at the seam. Car pulls to the left (I'm told a safety feature), passenger chair creaks.
I find the above faults completely unacceptable, and am so upset to be stuck with this car and to be going in circles without re-course and a proper solution. I have looked into the car and model and discussed with other owners and none have had this experience and even a ex-Hyundai dealer told me the oil fault is abnormal and the car should be re-called.
