I have bought a new Kia Sportage 2014 Model in the 1st week of December 2013 from Kia Alberton.
I ordered the vehicle with the following extras:
Smash & Grab, Towbar, Integrated Side Steps and Navigation system
My deal that I struck with Kia Alberton (Amanda De La Rey sales person) was that the total finance amount for the whole lot will come to R 499 000.00. I then decided to not install the navigation and smash and grab anymore as I needed the vehicle before I went away on holiday. They confirmed that I should still finance the full amount of R499 000 and they will refund me the difference (According to the Invoice/ OTP the difference comes down to R24 024.32). The integrated side steps was decided to be installed in January when the dealership opens up again. (This by the way is still not done).
Let's forget about the side steps for now, my main issue is that I am still struggling to get my refund back and it is now the 20th of January already. I have been trying to get hold of the manager (Stephanie Van Greunen) there since last week the 13th of January. I have left numerous messages for them to contact me. They are fully aware of the situation and ignoring my calls.
