I was told by the sales person at the Emperors Palace show, Warren, as well as the Germiston trainer, Nick, to avoid the Randburg branch for lessons because the trainer there touches woman inappropriately & they would take care of me. SOLD. I reside in Randburg. And so I bought a Singer sewing machine from SZ Sewing Machines Germiston & half a year later, a Singer serger.
Regarding the introductory lesson the owner of SZ Sewing Machines, Ivan Szokola wrote: "I will arrange for Nick to come through to you next week to take you through your machine - he is a sewing machine guru and my top trainer." So far so good. I received one lesson on the sewing machine.
R10, 000 later, with nothing more to sell me, I need training on the serger & can't get any one from SZ Sewing Machines to answer emails, return numerous calls & messages left with both Jenny & Bianca. Nick phoned last week Wed with an empty promise & avoided me since. The staff of SZ Sewing Machines are hypocrites who will sell you an idea of how they conduct themselves BUT IT'S A SALES LIE. Imagine when I need to service my machines! O.O
