We hired Erica to design, supply and install our new kitchen and bedroom cupboards. we paid her 55% deposit in august 2013 once contract was signed. she wanted 75% upfront. we told her we wanted to move in in December and that when we got back from holiday on 12th October she was meant to start. now when you pay a company a deposit you assume they are using that money to order and pay a deposit or pay in full for the materials needed to start the job. this was not the case obviously with Erica. we got back from holiday and no kitchen i called and she said they would be there the following week. following week came and again no show. a month down the line after excuse after excuse some flat pack of material arrived. she was meant to manufacturing everything in her so called factory in potch. the installer then arrived and with drawings which gave very little detail of what needs to be done. she then told us to pay for rest of materials and that certain things in contract we not included in price. we then fired her this woman is a and a good run a mile.
