I was billed from 5 - 27 Dec and my account was in the amount of R901.00.
I did not drive on any toll roads for 3 days. I resumed driving on toll roads on 2nd Jan.
I decided to do the "good citizen" thing and register to get the discount. I went to their booth in Atterbury Value Maart. I informed the assistant that I wanted to register and would settle my account of R901.00 I was then informed that my account was in excess of R2200.00. HOW CAN MY ACCOUNT GO FROM R901 to R2200 IN 7 DAYS!!!
I requested a printed invoice and was told they could not print invoices. I said she should calculate my discount. The amount was scribbled on a piece of paper and deductions were done in her head. There is not even the facility of having a calculator. The whole system is totally and unethically...!!
DOWN WITH THE E-TOLLING!!
