I purchased a Groupon Voucher for a Full Valet of my vehicle from the Yellowwood Park Carwash & Valet. As per the fine print on the voucher, I called the number listed in order to make a reservation for my vehicle.
When I spoke to Avi, he initially said that the deal was not valid for weekends & could only be used on weekdays. However, according to the fine print on the voucher the deal is valid Monday to Sunday. When I mentioned this, he conceded that the car could be brought in the following Sunday.
Furthermore, the voucher states that the process takes approximately 2 hours. However, according to Avi, the car had to be left there for the day & fetched in the afternoon.
Had I known that my vehicle would not be available to me for an entire day or that this deal was only available on weekends, I would not have purchased it in the first place.
I do not appreciated this false advertising. Companies like this, are gaining the publicity from advertising with social buying websites. However, when one calls to redeem the vouchers, there are suddenly a whole host of terms & conditions that were not initially advertised.
I will not support businesses that cannot keep their promises
