During March enquired re holiday accommodation during December 2013. Booking was confirmed on 16 May 2013 on which date I also paid 50% of the total price. I paid the further 50% at the end of August 2013.
Due to work pressure I contacted the owner to inform him that I would not be able to go to Cape Town at all over the festive season on 5 November 2013.
He acknowledged receipt of my email, but has since been giving my the run around, not responding to emails or telephone calls.
On 9 December 2013 he confirmed telephonically that he will refund the full amount of R12 300, 00 and will do the necessary eft to my account.
Everyday he has a different excuse as to why the monies have not been paid.
He has no defence and has admitted verbally that he does owe me the money as stated above.
