I accepted a quote from Mopping Maids on 11 Sept 2013 to clean all my tiled floors in my home and I paid a deposit the same day of R750.
After cancelling at least 3 appointments they made with me, they finally said they can't do it anymore as they don't have the required staff to do it. They said they would refund me immediately - that was a month ago. I have phoned and emailed countless times and apparently only Jan, the owner can do the refund. Every day I phone and every day he says he will do it that night. He has now become very abusive when I don't believe his empty promises anymore and today he put the phone down on me. I am getting legal advice.
He has been very rude on the phone and very impatient that I am wasting his time - and I will not let him get away with this as a matter of principal.
