We have been supporting Helgas for some time. On odd occasions we purchased some cordon bleu that was not quite up to scratch, but it was not vile and could be overlooked. In general we have been extremely happy with their products. Their meat is generally of a very good quality and much more tasty than any other butcher we have ever tried. We buy all our meat from them if we can, as they most certainly have the best quality for unbeatable prices. That was true until we bought their "free range rump". First off the packaging was misleading, as they hid the fatty parts under smaller pieces of meat so you could not tell what you were buying. The texture did not ever resemble rump... it was tough and virtually inedible. The taste was absolutely disgusting. I would not even give it to my dogs. We only cooked 2 steaks, but unfortunately we purchased a total of 8. I don't know what I should do with the rest. I cannot see myself cooking it, let alone eating it. I am very very disappointed indeed.
